Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the basic concepts of flap surgery, its clinical application in orthopaedic trauma
  • Plan for the flap surgery and know the postoperative care
  • Review the anatomy of various flaps
  • Expand surgical skills in soft tissue reconstruction via cadaveric demonstration and dissections
  • Acquire basic surgical techniques in soft tissue reconstructive procedures
