Bone molecular biology, histomorphometry, histopathology, and biomechanics;
Animal models for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis;
Evaluation of antiosteoporosis drugs and treatments of osteoporotic fractures;
Interface studies between bone and biomaterials;
Noninvasive bone densitometries and they evaluation strategy in preclinical and clinical research.
2. To provide opportunities for attendees to share their technical difficulties occurred during research with experts in related areas at the "users' meeting session" of the hands-on workshop and thereafter by establishing long-term personal contact.
3. To provide a forum for exploring future joint development in bone and related research, including continuous education and training, potential local, regional and international collaborations via joint research projects, sharing research funding sources, scientific information exchanges.

Target Participants

Basic and clinical scientists, orthopaedic surgeons, physicians, technologists, postgraduate students, and related personnel working in the bone and related biomaterial sciences.
